Brussels, April 24, 2025 – Toyota Motor Europe (TME) has announced its first quarter 2025 sales results, delivering 321,067 units across the Toyota and Lexus brands—marking a +0.4% year-on-year increase and outperforming a European auto market that contracted by -2.0%.
The growth was powered by a surge in electrified vehicle sales, which represented a record 78% of total sales, led by Toyota’s diverse lineup of hybrid, plug-in hybrid, battery electric (BEV), and fuel cell electric (FCEV) models.
