Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has officially launched a global memorabilia business, giving motorsport enthusiasts a rare opportunity to own authentic pieces of racing history. From iconic Formula 1 engine parts to IndyCar and MotoGP components, HRC is turning its legendary legacy into collectible artifacts for fans worldwide.

F1 History for Sale: Senna’s Championship Engine Parts Headline First Auction

To celebrate the launch, HRC will auction original components from the Honda RA100E V10 engine—the same power unit that drove Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger to F1 glory in 1990. This exclusive auction is scheduled to take place during Monterey Car Week in August 2025, one of the world’s most prestigious automotive events.

Auction Highlights:

  • Genuine engine parts: camshafts, pistons, cam covers, connecting rods, and more
  • All items disassembled by original engineers at HRC’s Sakura factory in Japan
  • Each component comes with a certificate of authenticity and a custom display case

Expanding Collection: IndyCar and Motorcycle Racing Parts Coming Soon

HRC is also curating heritage machines and components from its extensive inventory of IndyCar and motorcycle racing programs. These pieces will be made available through private sales and future auctions, further expanding the memorabilia catalog.

HRC’s goal is to celebrate Honda’s racing heritage while making it accessible to fans who’ve followed its journey since the 1950s.

Preserving Racing Heritage While Sharing It

The new memorabilia program is designed to complement—not compromise—HRC’s preservation efforts. Honda continues to maintain its historic racing machines in operational condition at both the Honda Collection Hall (Motegi, Tochigi) and Honda Racing Gallery (Suzuka Circuit, Mie).

Curated parts for sale are carefully selected from surplus inventory to ensure they do not affect the functionality or preservation of any active heritage machines.

HRC President: “This Is Just the Beginning”

“We aim to make this a valuable business that allows fans of F1, MotoGP, and other racing series to share in Honda’s storied racing history,” said Koji Watanabe, President of HRC. “This is not a one-time event, but the beginning of an ongoing legacy.”
